Iv’e only read a small porting of your blog, but I find it entertaining. I want to offer a constructive suggestion to the design.
A small tweak to the CSS for your site would vastly improve the read-ability. In the CSS for the ID “contents” (#contents) 1) change the ‘margin-left’ value from ‘199px’ to ‘180px’, and 2) add the attribute ‘background-color: rgba(255,255,255,0.60);’
These changes will not hide your background image but will make the text stand out from the background.
